my, mindset
Have you ever noticed how the way you look at something can quietly change how it feels?
The dictionary might define mindset as a mental attitude that shapes how we interpret and respond to situations.
For me, it goes a little deeper than that. Mindset is the voice I speak to myself in quiet moments. The story I tell when things feel unclear, messy, or heavy. It’s how I make sense of the world when there are no easy answers.
Over time, I’ve noticed that when I shift the way I frame something, seeing stress as information rather than failure, choosing a small walk as an act of care, or reminding myself that I already carry enough to get through hard days - something softens. The situation doesn’t always change, but the way I meet it does.
I don’t believe we can change who we are at our core. But I do believe we can become more aware of the lens we look through. And when that lens shifts, even slightly, our responses and choices begin to change with it.
That’s why mindset matters to me. Not as a concept to master, but as a way of living, of noticing, pausing and choosing how I want to meet my own life.
If something here resonates, you’re welcome to sit with it. Let it unfold in your own time and take from it whatever feels true for you.
