my, frame of mind
Have you ever noticed how much the way you see something changes how you feel about it?
The dictionary says mindset is “a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you interpret and respond to situations.”
But for me, it’s deeper than that.
Mindset is what I whisper to myself in the quiet moments. It’s the story I choose to tell about what’s happening around me. It’s how I make sense of the world, even when things feel messy, uncertain, or overwhelming.
When I frame something differently, like seeing stress as a chance to grow, or reminding myself that a small walk is an act of care for my body, or believing I already carry enough inside me to get through tough times, everything shifts. The situation doesn’t change, but the way I show up to it does.
I don’t think we can change who we are at our core. But I do believe we can change the lens we look through. And when we do, our responses, our choices, and ultimately, our outcomes, begin to change too.
That’s why mindset means so much to me. It’s not just a concept, it’s a way of living.
If these words resonate with you, trust that feeling. Reach out. Follow that instinct. And if you’re ready to explore your own mindset, know that I’m here to walk that journey with you.
