My frame of mind
If I quote from vocabulary.com
'Mindset is 'a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you
will interpret and respond to situations',
however,
To me, mindset is about what I believe, how I frame my events and mainly what I tell myself about the world around.
If you think about mindset as the way in which you frame things (e.g., like stress is a learning opportunity), what you tell yourself about situations (e.g., like walking farther is good for your health), what you choose to believe (e.g., like you have all the resources you need to weather adversity), it’s clear that you can intentionally adopt new mindsets.
I strongly believe we can’t change our innate characteristics, but we can change how we look at the world, which in turn changes our behavioural responses & leads to different outcomes.
And that’s why mindset, to me, plays such an important role in my life.
